Lead in Uganda: Strengthen Schools, Empower Teachers, and Shape Christ-Centered Education

In the heart of rural eastern Uganda, education is both a deep need and a powerful opportunity. The landscape is dotted with villages where most children walk long distances to reach school—if they attend at all. While Ugandans are hungry to learn and eager to teach, many local teachers lack formal training, mentoring, or support. The spiritual climate is one of openness, but biblical understanding is often shallow. Schools can be places of hope—or frustration—depending on the quality of teaching and encouragement students receive.

That’s why we believe transformation happens not just in the classroom, but through it. Our team is committed to empowering local teachers to succeed, developing contextualized curriculum that speaks to the realities of rural Ugandan life, and building classrooms where both knowledge and character grow. As we invest in education, we see students gaining confidence, communities gaining vision, and teachers discovering their God-given potential. We believe that when teachers thrive, students flourish—and the gospel is lived out in everyday learning.

We are looking for a servant-hearted school administrator who will come not as the expert, but as a partner and coach. You’ll work closely with Ugandan teachers and staff—helping to strengthen classroom instruction, supporting teacher development, and collaborating on school systems and curriculum that fit the local context. Your role may include leading professional development, guiding lesson planning, introducing best practices, and encouraging a culture of accountability and grace. This is a ministry of presence and partnership—walking with others, building trust, and helping create a Christ-centered learning environment where both teachers and students can thrive. If you have experience in school leadership, a heart for discipleship, and a desire to see lasting transformation through education, we invite you to join us!
