Help lay a Christ-centered foundation for the next generation and be an elementary school teacher in Uganda!

In rural eastern Uganda, the need for quality education is urgent and personal. Many children grow up without access to consistent schooling, and those who do often learn in overcrowded classrooms with limited resources and under-trained teachers. Yet these same children are bright, eager, and full of potential. The land is rich with beauty—rolling fields, banana groves, and village life—and the people are warm, welcoming, and spiritually open. The Church is growing, but a strong biblical foundation and Christian education are still rare, especially for young children.

In response to this need, we are launching a new Christian elementary school that seeks to provide high-quality, gospel-centered education from the earliest years. Our vision is to help children not only read and write, but to know Jesus and build a solid foundation for life. We desire to see a generation of children grow up with both academic excellence and spiritual depth—children who are equipped to bring change to their communities with truth, compassion, and integrity.

We are looking for a committed elementary school teacher who will come not just to teach, but to grow alongside a local team. You’ll serve in our newly established Christian school, working with young learners in a rural Ugandan setting where education is often under-resourced but deeply valued. Your role will include teaching in the classroom, helping shape a nurturing and Christ-centered learning environment, and collaborating with Ugandan teachers to adapt lessons to the local context. You’ll have opportunities to support early literacy, foundational math, and Bible teaching, while also contributing to classroom routines, parent engagement, and school culture.

This is more than a teaching job—it’s a chance to invest in lives at a foundational stage, modeling Christ’s love both in and outside the classroom. If you are flexible and passionate about helping children flourish through education and discipleship, we invite you to join us in this deeply rewarding work!
